About Us
The Mountain Lake Public Library’s mission is to bring people together, foster creativity, and encourage lifelong learning. This is achieved in part by the willingness of its patrons to respect one another and coexist in library spaces.
The library is a free, safe and friendly space for people of all ages. We offer books for all readers and interests, audiobooks, free Wi-Fi, public computers with internet access, Movies, magazines, newspapers, and hot spots. We also provide services for printing, scanning and copying for a minimal fee. Reading programs are offered to children and adults, story times, proctoring exams, and various events and entertainers throughout the year.
The library is a member the Plum Creek Library system. This is a nine-county cooperative which serves 26 libraries, including some school libraries. This cooperative allows access to share materials and resources offered through the member libraries. For more information visit: www.plumcreeklibrary.org
